Corresponds to the dimension for double ISO frame, our Art. No. BOA_24430_02. Please order the metal frame separately, if not already included with the radio. The optional set BOA_24430_02 contains the sheet metal frame, the metal brackets for the connection to the radio incl. screws, 2 unlocking keys and the matching plastic frame to cover the remaining gap of 7-10 mm for the insertion of the unlocking keys.

Most double DIN radios are mounted as follows, e.g. 13550 and 13552:
1. mounting of the plastic cover.
2. insert the sheet metal basket into the plastic panel from the front and fix it by bending over various tabs.
3. Install the metal clips supplied with the metal basket on the side of the radio.
4. Push the radio into the metal basket from the front until the metal clips snap into place.
5. Cover the gap between the radio front and the plastic panel with the cover frame supplied with the metal basket.

The sheet metal frames supplied with the radio cannot usually be used!
Note: The facia adapter 13550 and 13552 differ only in design! With the facia adapter 13552 there is a little more installation depth.

ISO extension harness with switch on 80cm extension for manually switching on radio without having the vehicles ignition on. Commonly used on camper vans and motor homes to be able to listen to the radio when parked without having to have the ignition on or engine running.

Suitable for vehicles with a permanent 12v feed to the radio using standard ISO connections.

ISO extension measures 20cm and extension for rocker switch measures 80cm with I/O markings on rocker switch as pictured.

A blocking diode prevents continuous current being fed back into the vehicles electrical system.

The switch needs a 20mm hole to fit and a minimum mounting depth of 38mm

WARNING: Running the radio without the engine to charge the battery by the alternator or running or an external battery charger will discharge the battery.

Man möchte das Radio im Stand nicht mit der Starterbatterie, sondern mit der Aufbaubatterie versorgen?
Kein Problem mit diesem zweiteiligen Kabelsatz!

Standardfunktion 1: Nur der ISO-Kabelsatz wird verwendet!

ISO-Verlängerungskabel mit Schalter an der 80 cm langen Verlängerung zum manuellen Einschalten des Radios, ohne dass die Zündung des Fahrzeuges eingeschaltet ist. Wird häufig in Wohnmobilen verwendet, um Radio hören zu können, wenn das Fahrzeug geparkt ist, ohne dass die Zündung eingeschaltet ist oder der Motor läuft.

Geeignet für Fahrzeuge mit einer permanenten 12-Volt-Versorgung des Radios über Standard-ISO-Anschlüsse.

Die ISO-Verlängerung misst 20 cm und die Verlängerung für den Wippschalter misst 80 cm. Ein/Aus-Markierungen auf dem Wippschalter wie abgebildet.

Eine Sperrdiode verhindert, dass Dauerstrom in das elektrische System des Fahrzeugs zurückgespeist wird.

Der Schalter benötigt eine 20mm Bohrung und eine minimale Einbautiefe von 38mm.

WARNUNG: Wenn das Radio ohne Motorlauf betrieben wird, und kein Ladegerät angeschlossen ist, wird die Batterie entladen.

Komfortfunktion 2:

Das Autoradio wird mit Dauerplus nur über die Aufbaubatterie versorgt. Beide Kabelsätze werden verwendet. Im ISO-Kabelsatz wird die gelbe Leitung (Dauerplus) unterbrochen. An den gelben Stecker wird das 2,9 m lange rote Kabel angeschlossen. Es kann direkt an den oft verbauten Schaudt Elektroblock angeschlossen werden oder über eine Sicherung direkt an die Aufbaubatterie angeschlossen werden. Die gelbe Buchse vom 16 poligen ISO Stecker bleibt unbenutzt.

Funktion des Schalters:

Schalter EIN:
Zündung wird simuliert vom Dauerplus der Aufbaubatterie über Schalter. Das Radio wird komplett über die Aufbaubatterie versorgt.

Schalter AUS:
Radio geht nur an, wenn die Zündungspannung vom Fahrzeug kommt, also während der Fahrt.

Bei Schalterstellung EIN und Zündung an erhält das Radio aus beiden Batterien seinen Strom. 2 Dioden in Gegenrichtung verhindern, dass Strom von der Starterbatterie in die Aufbaubatterie und umgekehr fließt.

Zusatzkabel am 2,9 m langen Kabel.

Blau/weißes Kabel: Manche Radios benötigen noch ein Rückwärtsgangsignal. Dieses kann im Sicherungskasten abgegriffen werden, wie in der Anleitung erklärt.

Blau/schwarzes Kabel: Dieses Kabel ist für Zusatzanwendungen vom Sicherungskasten zum Radioschacht als Reservekabel bereits ergänzt, bleibt in den meisten Fällen unbenutzt.

Rotes Kabel. An diesem Kabel ist bereits der passende PIN für den Schaudt EBL angecrimpt. Siehe Anleitung. Ist kein Schaudt EBL vorhanden, kann das Kabel direkt an den Pluspol der Aufbaubatterie angeschlossen werden. Im letzten Fall unbedingt eine Sicherung, spätestens 20 cm nach dem Pluspol einfügen.

Can Bus -steering wheel interface for remote control of the most important functions of a radio, such as volume up, volume down, search function forward, search function back, mute (mute) and source (source selection) if available in the vehicle and supported by the respective radio brand. These 6 buttons are located on the back of the steering wheel, 3 on top of each other on the right and left side of the steering wheel. The telephone buttons on the front side of the steering wheel are also supported by this solution, if they are also supported by the radio protocol.

At the interface are still the following cables, which are connected as follows:
Speed: cable color pink
Handbrake: cable color green
For these functions the longer pink cable must be additionally pinned to the fuse box as described in the manual.

Reverse signal: cable color violet
For this function, the loose violet cable must additionally be pinned to the fuse box, as described in the instructions.

Only for vehicles with so-called camp preparation, i.e. for vehicles without radio ex works!

Important note: Please note that the gray 6-pin connector of the interface in the vehicle may only be connected to the also gray connector and not to the orange connector.

The interface is delivered with a plug & play cable set for the main functions. Some cables must be connected to the fuse box as described above.
