The easy application convinces professionals and nonprofessionals alike.

There is no need for additional cleaning work, as protruding residues can be removed without leaving any residue. The sealant works well without pre-treatment on clean, dry, dust- and grease-free substrates made of aluminium, stainless steel, zinc, copper, brass, powder-coated metal, most painted metal surfaces, glass, PVC, polyester (GRP), painted wood and many other materials.

- DEKASEAL 8936 can be applied by hand or with the aid of a compressed air gun.
- 310 ml cartridges, 560 ml tubular bags.
- Temperature resistant from -30°C to +100°C.
- Long shelf life, up to two years.
- Easy cleaning by dabbing.

For substrates with low surface tension (mostly plastics) or if the composition of the substrate is not known, we recommend using our DEKAVATOR adhesive activator.
It ensures a permanent bond and prevents the penetration of moisture in outdoor areas.
DEKAVATOR improves the bondability, because it acts as a chemical bridge between the joining part and the adhesive.

Typical applications are plastic sealants in many areas, from industry to vehicle construction.
Its strengths, apart from its high tightness, are its ease of disassembly, i.e. it is well suited for joints that need to be undone at a later date. Excess material can be removed with cleaner (cannot be dabbed off).
Because of its stability, it is ideal for sealing cable penetrations and for installing roof hatches (e.g. Heki).
Also suitable for panel vans with installation frame.

- 310 ml cartridge available in cream-white.

The aqueous solution of surface-active substances serves as an aid for the surface smoothing of our MS polymer adhesives and sealants. Dekafinisher is ready for use immediately, but can also be applied diluted in a mixing ratio of 2:1 (2 parts finisher, 1 part water).

Properties:
- for nice visible seams
- maintains the gloss of the sealant surface
- colour pigments of the sealant are not washed out

ADVANTAGES COMPARED TO RINSING AGENT:
When smoothing with washing-up liquid, the mixing ratio is usually such that only a little washing-up liquid is dissolved in the water. Therefore, the smoothing ability is usually very limited.
Dishwashing detergents have a grease-dissolving effect. If the joint is smoothed with washing-up liquid, there is a risk that components will be dissolved from the surface, making it dull and matt. When cleaning later, there is often abrasion with unsightly streaks.
