Der SELFSAT MWR 5550 ist ein Router, der über ein 12 Volt Bordnetz oder einen 230 Volt Anschluss betreiben werden kann. Er kann ein eingehendes WLAN-Signal, oder dank einer eingelegten SIM-Karte, ein Mobilfunknetz-Signal empfangen und ein privates, passwortgeschütztes WLAN-Signal aussenden. Darüber hinaus können Sie mehrere Geräte gleichzeitig mit dem Router verbinden. Dieser hat keine SIM-Sperre und kann mit den Auflade-SIM-Karten (Prepaid) oder Vertrags-SIM-Karten (Postpaid) der verschiedenen Anbieter verwendet werden. Da er über 2 SIM-Karteneinschübe verfügt können z. B. im Ausland auch ausländische SIM-Karten zusätzlich verwendet werden.

Er empfängt ein 2.4 GHz WLAN-Signal, wie auch das 5G oder 4G LTE oder 3G Mobilfunknetz-Signal. Dank der MIMO-Technologie (Multiple In Multiple Out) kann er gleichzeitig mehrere Datenpakete senden und empfangen, um die bestmögliche Verbindungs-Geschwindigkeit zu erreichen.

Die Verbindung mit dem WLAN Ihres Routers ist so einfach wie im Hotel oder zu Hause. Die erste Verbindung kann dabei über die auf dem Router angebrachten QR-Codes, oder über den WLAN-Namen und das Passwort hergestellt werden. Nach Änderung des Passworts erfolgt die Verbindung über Ihr festgelegtes persönliches Passwort. SIM-Karten Slots:
Der SELFSAT MWR 5550 Router verfügt über zwei SIM-Karten Slots, die jeweils mit einer SIM-Karte eines beliebigen Providers bestückt werden können. So können Sie beispielsweise zwei SIM-Karten unterschiedlicher Provider verwenden und bei mangelnder Netzabdeckung eines Providers das Netz wechseln. The SELFSAT MWR 5550 modem allows you to establish a constant 5G, 4G LTE, or 3G internet connection with transmission rates of up to 3.3 Gbps download and 900 Mbps upload. In 4G LTE mode, speeds of up to 2.0 Gbps download and 200 Mbps upload are possible, and in 3G UMTS mode, speeds of 42 Mbps download and 5.76 Mbps upload (according to the DC-HSPA+ standard) are possible. It also allows you to set up a Wi-Fi/LAN network to share the internet connection with multiple devices.

SIM Card Slots:
The SELFSAT MWR 5550 router has two SIM card slots, each of which can be equipped with a SIM card from any provider. For example, you can use two SIM cards from different providers and switch networks if one provider's coverage is insufficient. After the appropriate configuration, you can connect your devices wirelessly via Wi-Fi or via a wired LAN connection to the MWR 5550 router and use the internet connection. External Antenna Connections: The SELFSAT MWR 5550 router also features four external 5G/4G LTE/3G antenna connections (SMA connectors) and one GPS antenna connection (SMA connector). This allows you to connect a high-performance 5G, 4G LTE, 3G, or GPS antenna if needed. 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi Access Point: Thanks to the integrated 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi access points, you can easily set up your own Wi-Fi network and conveniently connect your Wi-Fi clients to the SELFSAT MWR 5550 router. Data transfer rates of up to 867 Mbps are available according to the Wi-Fi AC standard. Naturally, the SELFSAT MWR 5550 router supports all current encryption and security mechanisms, such as WPA/WPA2. Connecting wired devices or integrating the router into an existing wired network is also no problem thanks to the five integrated 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet ports. Network Storage: The SELFSAT MWR 5550 router has a USB 2.0 port. This interface can be used to connect a mass storage device. The integrated Samba server allows you to make the mass storage available as network storage. Web Interface: The user-friendly web interface allows all users to conveniently operate the router.
