Inverter combination unit pure sine 1500 Watt
with 20A battery charger, mains priority circuit and integrated RCD protection
Vehicle, car, boat, camping, outdoor, caravan, motorhome, solar
Description:
This combination unit from the BluePlus series has a sine wave inverter with 1,500W continuous power, a 20A battery charger with IUOU charging characteristic, a mains priority circuit and an RCD integrated in the AC output. This means that everything needed for a self-sufficient 230V supply is compactly combined in one housing. The integrated sine wave inverter supplies the connected 230V consumers; if shore power is present, the integrated mains priority circuit recognises this and switches the shore power through to the 230V consumers, the inverter goes into standby mode. The integrated battery charger starts automatically and recharges the connected battery via shore power. An RCD with a rated current of 30mA integrated in the output provides the necessary safety.
The inverter combi unit has a wide range of setting options that can be configured via an app or directly on the device using a control panel. These include energy-saving mode, switch-off voltage, alarm messages, fan, temperature, overload, etc.
The components in detail:
Sine wave inverter: This inverter generates a 230V AC sine wave voltage from a 12V battery voltage. This inverter can be used wherever a pure sine wave voltage is required - as from the public grid. In motorhomes, this is usually for the coffee pod machine, the hairdryer, the e-bike charger or the microwave. However, the Blue-Plus device series is also used in many other areas, such as measurement and control technology, audio technology, mobile workstations, service vehicles, safety-relevant equipment (emergency power) and other industrial applications,
Battery charger: The integrated battery charger delivers a charging current of 20A. It is suitable for all battery types such as GEL, AGM WET and LiFePO4. It starts automatically as soon as shore power is applied to the AC input of the combi unit and it is switched on.
Mains priority circuit: The integrated mains priority circuit automatically recognises whether shore power is present at the AC input of the inverter or not. If shore power is present at the AC input, it is prioritised and switched through to the loads at the AC output of the inverter. The inverter goes into standby during this time. If there is no shore power at the AC input, the grid priority circuit switches over and the inverter takes over the supply to the loads at the AC output. The switchover takes place within a few milliseconds so that most AC consumers continue to function without interruption. The power of the mains priority circuit is limited to approx. 1,800 watts by an 8A / 230V fuse in the AC input.
Residual current circuit breaker: A residual current circuit breaker (RCCB) with a rated current of 30 mA is already integrated in the AC output. This protects you from a dangerous contact voltage should a power consumer have a short circuit in the housing. In the event of a fault, the RCD trips immediately in the event of a short circuit and de-energises the AC output. You are therefore protected from dangerous voltages at all times. Once the faulty load has been removed, the inverter can be put back into operation by switching it off and on again.
Further features
Bluetooth app function, the inverter combi unit is equipped with Bluetooth. The current status data such as battery voltage, output power, output voltage, frequency, temperature, etc. are available via the "LinkUP: Power Management" app, which can be downloaded free of charge for Android and iOS. In addition, many functions of the device can be switched on or off via Bluetooth and settings can be made, such as the energy-saving mode, cooling amplification, signalling device, output voltage, output frequency, timer, switch-off voltage, etc.. For more information, take a look at the operating instructions in the Downloads tab.
OLED display, the device has an integrated display. All of the appliance's status data - as also available in the app - is shown on the display. In addition, many functions of the device can be switched on or off via the push button below the display and settings can be made, such as the energy-saving mode, cooling amplification, signalling device, output voltage, output frequency, timer, etc. .
Remote control, a wired remote control is supplied, which you can use to switch the inverter on or off. The connection to the inverter is made via a socket on the front of the device. When the inverter is switched off via the remote control, only a minimal current of approx. 2mA flows from the battery for communication between the remote control and the inverter. The cable length of the remote control is approx. 5 metres.
The remote control has the following functions:
- ON / OFF switch
- Operation LED
- Bluetooth LED
- Error LED
Energy saving mode, this can be activated or deactivated. When energy saving mode is activated, the inverter checks every 4-6 seconds whether a load greater than 5W is connected to the output. If this is the case, the device exits energy-saving mode and supplies the load for as long as it is active, after which the device returns to energy-saving mode. If only a small load (less than 5W) is connected to the inverter that needs to be supplied with power continuously, the energy-saving mode should be deactivated.
USB ports, there are two USB-A Quick Charge 3.0 ports on the front of the device. You can use these to charge your USB devices.
